When the busiest season in school photography approaches, preparation is everything. That’s why this summer we launched the Captura Summer Success Series, a five-week high light reel designed to help studios get ready for fall 2025 with practical best practices, new feature rollouts, and actionable strategies.
The goal was simple: set every studio up to sell smarter, scale faster, and increase revenue by the time peak season hits.
Why we did it
Not every studio takes full advantage of Captura Workflow. Some don’t even realize the tools already at their fingertips. The Summer Success Series was about bridging that gap, showing studios how small, strategic changes can make a big impact on order value, efficiency, and overall growth.
Each week, we shared a short video, hands-on walkthroughs, and CSM tips to help studios adopt features and put best practices into action immediately.

Weekly highlights
Week 1: Sell what parents want
We kicked off by focusing on product strategy, the foundation of every successful season. From quick buy categories to MyDesigns on digital downloads and post-checkout feedback, studios learned how to modernize their offerings, simplify carts, and increase average order value (AOV) without guesswork.
Week 2: Turn your pricelist into a revenue engine
This week was all about pricing psychology. We walked through Good / Better / Best tiers, cross-out pricing, badges, and smart upsells. With these tools, studios can nudge families toward higher-value purchases and maximize revenue at checkout.
Week 3: Start smart, scale easier
Operational efficiency took center stage in Week 3. Studios saw how to use stages, AI editing (crop & knockouts), and new features like sheet view find & replace to save time and scale without adding staff. The message: structure your jobs right now, and fall volume becomes manageable.
Week 4: Turn galleries into orders
With products, pricing, and workflows in place, it was time to drive orders through marketing. We spotlighted the marketing attachment wizard, automated campaigns, holiday prep, and even Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) strategies proven to lift AOV by up to 50%. Studios were encouraged to launch core campaigns early to ensure families don’t miss their chance to buy.
